What does this do?
PortMiner lets you create public servers, that people can connect to externally without the need for portforwarding or Hamachi. This is because some people either can’t portforward or don’t wish to.
How does it work?
PortMiner uses Universal Plug and Play to make port mappings on your router. You are the host of the server, and the people connecting to your server connect to you directly, just like any other public server. Some programs you may use already use this. Peer to peer filesharing software uses UPnP to open the ports to allow incoming and outgoing connections, and even Skype uses UPnP for the same reason.
How do you use it?
To run PortMiner, you simply need to download a server jar, this can be Bukkit, Spigot, or you can have PortMiner download the official Minecraft server jar for you (or you can download it yourself). Any server software for Minecraft will do. Then you just need to open PortMiner, and it will open a MinTTY terminal with your server, and in the background open the ports for the server. It will keep the ports open until you close the server. Once the server is closed, PortMiner will close the ports and then close itself.
It’s not working for me.
PortMiner may not work for you for many reasons ranging from UPnP not being enabled/supported by your router, or your router may not be supported by the Cling Library (used to open the ports). Firstly, before asking for help read the “PortMiner Manual” file that comes with the application, and look in the Troubleshooting section.
Warning about port forwarding:
PortMiner uses UPnP to map ports, which is the same as port forwarding. While port forwarding itself can not damage your router, it opens a port directly to your computer, and thus can let malicous connections get through. Be sure to only share your IP address with people you trust.
I found a bug./Is it supposed to do this?/Any other question not answered in the manual, or on this page:
If you find any bugs or have any unanswered questions feel free to reply and I’ll reply next time I’m on PMC.
I am not responsible for any damage to your computer even though it is incredibly unlikely, I have to put this here.

McNally Grand Prize also.
Starting Minecraft Up
When you double click on that, it should reveal a window called Minecraft Launcher. Here is really where you are able to alter your minecraft variation by simply clicking on the Edit Profile button. Here you may alter your version by going to ‘Use Variation’. Here’s where you can even empower shots. The same display shows up when you clicked on Save. The latest Mojang upgrades are contained by the launcher display. Mojang is the company that created Scrolls, along with Minecraft and Cobalt. On the correct side, you may see the entire team that develops Minecraft. On the underside center of you display, you can see a large button. In case it is your first time starting minecraft, it’ll be called Play & Download. Otherwise, it’ll say ‘Play’. It’s going to say Play Offline when you don’t have a Internet Connection.
A record of all your worlds will appear after clicking on Singleplayer. Because I wish to preserve the info for the following lesson, I am not going to talk about this too much. Essentially, this is were you can make as many worlds as you had need!
Life would be dull alone! When you clicked on this particular button, nothing should appear when you are not old. To locate servers, you are able to visit the web and search for ‘minecraft servers’. Planetminecraft, also called PMC, is the most effective website to locate servers. Simply click the ‘servers’ button and begin searching. Additional information regarding servers and the best way to make a server will likely be described in one of the next lessons.
Minecraft Realms is. Here is the paying, although simple, means let people join in and to make your own server. Individuals looking to join your server will need to pay also. Should you not understand anything about server it is easy. People who have a Minecraft Realms server can decide to forever or temporarily alter their server in a Minigame or Experience server with the Mojang Templates. Please go to The Minecraft Realms Wiki to get the templates.
The small icon with all the world on it’s the Language Menu. Here you can select the language you would like to show the entire game in. One matter that lots of folks do not understand is that there is a Pirate Language in the game. Simply click the Language Choices menu and scroll down until you discover the Pirate Talk (PIRATE). Esperanto is a language a particular guy called Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof who desired to develop a language that will replace all languages made that. Sadly, the language was spoken by just 2M individuals, but never the less Minecraft contained it. Enough history for now.
Minecraft has plenty of choices. The ones that are truly significant are Sounds & Music, Video Settings, Resource Packs and Controls. In Sounds & Music, you can fix how much you would like to hear a particular kind of sound. Video Settings is a little more complicated. Having an excellent Video Settings can ascertain whether you computer acts quite laggy. Images is should you would like everything to be fine and thorough (Fantasy) or immediately loaded and a bit less pleasant (Quick). You’ve got a possibility of lagging should you enable it. GUI Scale is the scale of how large you want your own GUIs (your ingame displays) to be. (I understand I’m jumping some choices, however there are a few which are not so significant). 8-10 is standard. Should you not need a laggy game this is crucial. This Leave space is computed in balls. The remainder is self explanatory. Resource packs is something we will talk about in another lesson. In ‘Controls’, you select which button does what. Some controls such as the List Players control does not operate in Singleplayer. The Flowing choices are for when you flow your game with Twitch.
Have you ever been called a “noob” or “eZ” after some person kills you? have you ever said “you hack” or “you suck” after getting your butt kicked by another player? this wont ever have to happen again. It is actually possible to be very good at PvP in Minecraft, and you can also be good at it. Now, it is your turn to win in every battle you fight in Minecraft PvP.
Step 1: Straffing – What Is It and How Do I Do It?
The number one thing you need to learn the way to do in pvp is strafe. straffing is the infrastructure of pvp, and you cannot be truly great at PvP without it. First of all, what is straffing? – Straffing is essentially a sidestep-dodging movement, used to make it so your opponent cant strike on you. Some of the most effective and easy means to straffe is referred to as circle straffing. This really is when you run completely around your adversary to make it so they cant hit you, and is very powerful. Next, how do I strafe? – You do not have to run in a straight line, when pvping. instead of just snapping “W” to go forward. When you are behind them, turn them and hit them while continuing to circle around, and they will not be able to hit you and die. Straffe repeatedly around them so they practically never strike you, if they understand you pvp and turn around. Strafing is the infrastructure and backbone of PvP.
Step 2: Okay, I Get Strafing. How Do I Get So Many Critical Hits?
There are various methods to improve your critical hits when pvping. Another approach to get hits that are critical will be to leap while you strike your opponent. This is simply not the very best idea because it knocks you back, but it works.
Did you know that there is an easy way to download mods extremely quickly. In fact, in less than a SECOND!!! Well, now I’m going to share this way with you, and show you stp by step on how to do so.
Let’s start out with an example, shall we? For one thing, how many of you want to download the Herobrine mod, which allows herobrine to roam your world. Also, you’ll receive some coolnew items as well. Also, some other examples, the ICMB mod, Minecraft Comes to Life, Clay Soldiers, Too Many Items, More Weapons, Gun Mod, Minions Mod, Floating Ruins Mod, there are several mods tochoose from, including the popular mod ,”BuildCraft.” That’s right. You can just install them within seconds! Now, back t the first example, the Herobrine Mod. If you’ve heard of my newest map, “Brine” which is based off of the game “Slender,” 9P.S. Really fun and FREE horror game that you can gt for the PC and the iphone and ipod touch.) This map requires te mod. Maybe you want it, but you have no idea on howto donload the mod. Well, that mod just happens to be on a really cool program called, “Kavocic’s Mod Pack,” made by MrDrKavocic on youtube, and possiblyPMC as well. Theonly question is, how d I get this program?
Well, let’s start out with the easiest way that I know of. There are these things caled “links” which can send you to any place on th internet instantly when clicked on. Sarcasm 😉 You probably, and you should by the way, know what links. Click on the link below to get to the download area for Kovacic’s Mod Pack:
Now, there might be something way behind an add on the page saying that you have to wait a few seconds. This is okay. Just wait the three seconds out. I’m sure that you can manage that. 🙂
Ten, once this time is up,a link will pop up behind the add, or possibly just right there on he screen, I’m not sure how you’re computer works, that says “Download Mod Pack.” You will then click onthis link, and you’re download will begin!
Now, it may take a little while to download completely. Then, once it’s done, drag the download onto your desktop, and follow the instructions given:
1.) Right click the program (it may look like three booksstacked ontop of eachother if you have WinRar installed) and click on Extract to bla bla bla
2.) DONNOT change where the thing goes, just press okay once the thing pops up.
You’ll know what I’m talking about once you see it.
3.) Then go through the files, until you find a file called 1.5.2 (Current Version). Click on this, but just incase if you d this is a different version of mincraft, it may say a different version in the place of 1.5.2. Just enter the folder.
4.) Before you do ANYTHING!!! Click on “Install Me First.” A window will pop up. Press install.
5.) Then go to the Mods folder, and brava. All the mods that you love. Just click on any, and press install, and it will install for ya.
Thankyou for reading this tutorial on how to download mods the quickest and the easiest. I really have to go now, I might send some more info in later. See ya. Keep playing folks! 🙂

Minecraft has many qualities that assisted it to turn into a gaming phenomenon: ever-expanding environments to explore, the freedom to craft complex things from simple materials. But one of my favorite aspects of Minecraft is how easy it’s to host your own Minecraft server. With only a Windows computer, a decent internet connection (with a static IP), and some computer knowledge, anyone can build a private world for a few friends to share.
A Minecraft Server relies on Java, so you can start by being sure you have the latest version of Java 7 installed on your machine. Once you are sure on that, download Minecraft_Server.exe from Minecraft.net and save it into a folder, like C:\MinecraftServer.
Go on and run the server application, which can bring up a simple interface window. Don’t stress about any “missing file” warnings, those are normal for the first run. Once the series of “Preparing spawn area” messages is finished by a line that says “Done,” type “stop” within the text field and press Enter.
Your new Minecraft world has been created! Now it’s time to configure it.
Within the directory in which you saved Minecraft_Server.exe you’ll want to see two files named “server,” one of these will be listed as a PROPERTIES file when you hover your mouse cursor over it. Right click this file and choose Edit to open it in notepad. You’ll see a list of server settings followed by an equals sign and a value. By changing the values you can configure a number of things concerning your Minecraft world. Luckily, the majority of the default settings ought to be fine, but there are some things that you need to think about altering.
The gamemode and difficulty options are simple for determining what sort of experience you would like your players to have. The default gamemode setting is 0, which produces a survival server. In survival, players have to gather their own resources, endure damage from enemies, and contend with hunger – it’s what you probably think of when you think about playingMinecraft. Changing the setting to 1 enables creative mode, which means that players take no damage and can fly around placing and destroying blocks instantly. If all you want to do is build, this is the mode for you.
If you so happen to choose to go a more standard survival route, you can configure the difficulty setting from 1 (Easy) to 3 (Hard) to make the game’s enemy mobs more or less of a threat. If you want to remove enemies from the world completely, change the setting to 0 (Peaceful).
Setting white-list=true is an excellent way to ensure your server gets populated by only friends and family, and not potentially griefers. Once started up, no one but the users you approve will be allowed to connect and play.
If you want to dig into each and every setting listed, check out the Minecraft Wiki page to read up on them all. Once you’re happy with the server.properties settings, make sure to click File-Save before closing the file.
In your Minecraft server folder, you will see another file known as the white-list, right click it and select Edit, this will open a totally blank text file. The very first player you should add is yourself, so type your Minecraft username in to the top line. Your username is going to be what you had registered with when you first purchased the overall game, and is identical factor you utilize to log in the regular Minecraft client.
Once you’ve entered your username, click Enter to jump down a single line, and begin adding your friend’s usernames, each and every on its own line. As soon as you’re done click File-close and Save out of the white-list.
Your Minecraft server folder contains another special list called “ops,” which you add usernames to the same way you did for the whitelist. The difference is that anyone on the op (short for “Operator”) list will be able to execute moderator commands in-game. Since you’ll be in charge of this Minecraft world, you should definitely add yourself as an op. Add them as wellwell if you’ve got a trusted player or two who can handle the responsibility. See the “Learn to Op” below for details on exactly what ops can do
